Next Gen - Born From A Tragedy

Here we have Leanne's daughter, Amy~ What led to her existence is a sad one but even then, she is loved immensely by her family.

Amy - Not all kids are intentional. This was the case with Amy, whom was the result of rape. Indeed, her mother Leanne was raped at a young age, at the age of 17, by an older man. While the man responsible was caught and sent to jail, the damage was done. Leanne didn't even know she was pregnant until she noticed her stomach was getting bigger out of no where. She is scared at first, and even considered abortion. However, she eventually decides to give birth to the child and instead, was going to put the baby up for adoption... But, once she and the baby made eye contact... Leanne just couldn't find it in her heart abandon the baby. Since the rapist was in jail, Leanne decided not to have anything to do with him and raise Amy regardless, wanting to prove she can move on and not let the event drag her down. It does take some time for Leanne to adapt to having a baby and being a teenage mother, but she also has her family and a boyfriend who back her up and help out. Amy herself is a sweet and friendly girl, unaware of the tragedy that led to her being conceived. She does some times wonder about her father but otherwise, is content just having her mother and her family. And Amy, in return, is loved by her mother and family immensely.

And that's it for her. I did a lot of research on this topic and I know its a sensitive one. Leanne, although she will be traumatized from the event... Still keeps her child and raises her. Amy herself is told her father was someone none of her family knew well, but he did do something to her mother and resulted in him being put in jail for it. She'll eventually learn the truth when she's in her early teen years. And while feeling bad her mother had her against her will and no consent, she also respects her mother more for raising and loving her regardless. In the end, its up to the mom if she still wants to bond with the child or not. Leanne made a bold choice but she still loves Amy no matter what. And that's what matters in the end. Plus, Leanne does date someone and that person, in Amy's eyes, is her father more than anything. More future kids will come~
